Dore's
Mountain
Art
Garden
has
been
a
dream
come true for sculptors Dore
Capitani and Bill Anson. Both artists work on location, and together
they have transformed the eight-acre property into a beautifully
landscape sculpture garden.
Dore's welded and
cut-steel sculpture shows the influence of Celtic and Native American
art.
Bill Anson's work
includes redwood and copper sculpture, ceramic sculpture and
one-of-a-kind cedar sculpture inlaid with copper. He also works in
alabaster, and welded steel.
The Garden also features two galleries: The Schiffman+Anson Gallery
showcasing textural abstracts and plein air landscapes by Jessica
Schiffman, and Gallery 2B featuring
the environmental photography of Trish Tuley as well as paintings and
sculpture created by a variety of local artists.
The property is
visited frequently by raccoons, a bobcat, a great blue heron and a
family of deer
