The Art Garden, also known as Dore's Mountain Metals, has been
a dream come true for sculptors Dore
Capitani and Bill Anson.
Both artists work on location, and together they have transformed
the rolling eight-acre property into an extensive and beautifully
landscaped sculpture garden.
Dore's welded cut-steel sculptures show the influence of Celtic
and Native American art.
Bill Anson's work includes redwood and copper sculptures, ceramic
sculpture, hand-built ceramic pots and one-of-a kind ceder funiture
inlaid with copper.
The Garden also features two galleries: The Schiffman+Anson Gallery
Showcases the textural abstract paintings of Jessica
Schiffman and Gallery B2, featuring the environmental photography
of Trish
Tuley , as well as paintings and sculpture created by a variety
of local artists.
Two fishponds on the property are frequently visited by a Great
Blue Heron, a family of deer and an assortment of raccoons.
